At least 7000 angry protesters turned up at African Game Services farm demanding the elephants be relocated to a game reserve. Some protestors camped over night at the farm. The protest that started off calmly became a bit heated when some of the protestors broke through some fences at the farm, demanding justice be done. Police kept a presence during the protest, but did not interfere. "A minimum fine of R30,000.00 will be given to the perpetrators of the abuse when found guilty", said a spokesman for the NSPCA. Here are the pics!
