Report on the protest at AGS on 25 July, 1999
We had a great day at the protest, although there were a lot of police today we were not interfered with at all, in fact they were interested in learning more about the cause. The protest was totally peaceful and quiet. We basically just wanted Ghiazza to know that none of these people are ever going to give up at getting him closed down. WAG also said that they have places that are willing to take all of the animals that are kept there. Ghiazza has been saying that none of this has impacted on his business but one would hope and pray that anyone dealing in animals, like that should even be happening, will think 60 million times before ever dealing with him again.
On the court case of the mahouts and Wayne Stockigt, there will be another hearing on Friday the 30th at Brits, I presume, we need to get people to come and protest at the court so that these guys do not get off, apparently their visas expire on the 4th of August, we cannot allow these guys to disappear.
Saw the babies, they are so beautiful. And finally got a pic of Gareth Patterson for you.
